The cottage is close to the High Peak, Monsal and Tissington Cycle Trails.  

 

There is a Peak Cycle Hire Centre for these trails at Parsley Hay.  Parsley Hay is at the junction of the High Peak and Tissington Trail.   The Tissington Trail is a disused railway line of scenic  beauty which is traffic free and 13.5 miles long.
