The cottage is in a picturesque village close to Chatsworth House, Haddon Hall and the Peak Steam Railway.

Within easy reach are Crich Tramway Museum, the Heights of Abraham and Gulliver's Kingdom.

There are excellent shopping facilities in nearby Bakewell and Matlock, and a wide range of factory outlets at Peak Village and Masson Mills.
